What the ♥♥♥♥ is this game playing at?

I just tried playing this for the first time after installing it a few days ago and all sound disappeared as soon as I set my resolution to 1920*1200. Messed about with it but could only get sound effects back. Decided to close it and deal with it's stupidity later but that was a problem too. Had to ctrl+arl+del it to get to the task manager and even then, the mouse was frozen. Had to use techniques I learned from windows 3.1 to get rid of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

This is not acceptable. I keep my computer very clean and orderly, I NEVER have problems with games to this extent. What the ♥♥♥♥ is this game playing at?

I agree, this game is riddled with so many bugs it's simply unplayable.

yea, soon as I hit up 1920x1080 I lose all sound as well. Quite annoying.

The default when going into options for some reason is 'No Sound' so while you have sound to begin with 'Applying' the new resolution also applies the 'No Sound' as well. Just reselect DirecrSound 3D Emulation Software and the sound will come back.
