WIN 10 HOW TO GET IT TO WORK

so this ended up working for me, hopefully it works for you.

step 1 right click on game in steam and go to manage and then click browse local files.

step 2 now that the folder is open go here on your browser https://www.dropbox.com/s/5solxq88t9nyidx/FF_steam_fix.zip?dl=0

step 3 click the download button up in the upper right hand corner. dont worry its a safe file.
this will fix the cursor in game and make left clicks actually work.

step 3 extract the folder and put the vsync folder and the exe into your freedom force install location and overwrite.

step 4 right click the newly installed exe and go to properties and select compatibility tab.

step 5 select run in compatibility mode for win 95 or 98. 95 worked for me. then save and exit.

step 6 run game and go to options and make sure to select an audio playback device to make the sound work. set your res and graphics and you should be all set.
