alert init renderer error

what is it and how do i fix it this is one of my favorite games an i would like to play it

i use to own it on cd

I've found an workround on internet for the init rendered error:
- right click on Freedom Force game name on your Library
- click on Initialize Options button (something like that, I'm using another language)
- put the command (this doesn't worked for me): -windowed -w 1024 -h 768
- for me, the command that worked was: -windowed

i used -windowed and once in game set it to my screen size and the removed -windowed. so far its working
