saving the game
Can you save a frame when playing an individual match offline ie can you save the current position of a frame played against the computer and go back at a later dale - or do you always need to finish a frame first?

If I remember correctly having not played in some time you can. Best thing to do is start a match and after a shot, save the round and test it out on resume.

There are no options in the game to manually save, your current game progress is saved in Career Mode if you leave to the main menu, in Quick Match you need to finish the game, your progress is lost if you leave.

Even in career mode games are not always saved...
I was playing a long match (best of 11) against John Higgins, and stopped the game after four frames. The next day everything was gone and I had to start over. This happened 5 times...
After I switched back to shorter games (best of 5), the game at hand was remembered when I quit and restarted the next day.
I wrote an e-mail to RIPSTONE, about it, but as usual no response.
So saving is an issue in Snooker 19 they should look into i.m.o.
Saving a frame for watching afterwards never was possible I think.

What you say here would be a game braker because I mainly play in single player and offline too. It didn't happen to me yet, but that doesn't mean anything (I bought the game only few weeks ago)...Maybe the game is only saved when you have an online connection with the Steam overlay? I don't know, but that would be sort of DRM which wouldn't surprise me.
And no: there are no save-replay functions whatsoever in this game, only thing you can do is retake the same shot on the practise table by hitting 'O' (O, not zero).

Not saving in the middle of a career match is a bug that was introduced some time ago after an update.

If you make sure to exit the game mid-break it will save every time though. I've been doing this for over a year now. As long as I've potted a red (or color) to begin a break before exiting the game it won't reset the match.

Good to know, thanks!
