A .I Getting out of hard snookers

Obviously not hard enough. They don’t always get out of it in my experience with the game.

i won a game vs AI .... i just snooked him right after Break Ball .... he always hittet the pink ball ....

Was a win in less than 3 minutes ... had a blast ^^

How hard? if its a one cushion escape a pro player would get out of it prob 9/10 2 cushion or more will see this drop to near 50/50 and lower.

I used to think AI would always get out of them but then frame 1 of a match with selby I needed 2 snookers and to my surprise he missed both and I cleared up the colours to win by 1 point.

This has happened loads to me. AI gets out of the most impossible snookers and also puts me in them. Thats on Easy Mode

They do in my experience. Maybe not always as in 100% of the time, but certainly 95%. I play on level easy and I've even had a match where the AI managed a 5 cushion escape! And my opponent was not even ranked in the top-100. It was ridiculous. And i wish I could say this was an exception. The AI also finds ways to snooker you way to easily and way too often. You're always snookered on almost every attempt.

Judging by comments it seems its a mixed bag. Don't get me wrong there has been times i have won frames due to a.i, being snookered it seems to be more so recent patch i find the a.i is too good at getting out of a 2 or 3 ball snooker lol!! that surely isn't rite imo . As filip said too they seem to snooker YOU easily aswell. Don't know how many times they miss a pot too but always manage to leave me with no shot afterwards lol. I think some a.i values could be tweaked slightly in these areas.

If it's possible, it would be helpful to see videos or screenshots of the snooker escape that you don't think is realistic or fair, as well as to know what difficulty setting you're playing on. It'll help us judge how "hard" the escape is and look into adjustments for the AI behaviours.

Thanks for the reply. I will do going forward if possible. I'm sure i'm on medium difficulty on career mode. Loving the game overall though. It may just need a slight tweak so it doesn't feel as automated.

No official evidence as in a screenshot. So i made this drawing of the 5 cushion escape i was talking about; as performed by a non top 100 player and which he managed on the very first attempt of course as non top 100 players always do in stressful frame deciding moments....

lol, nice drawing and good escape by the AI. Understand your frustration though when you set such a difficult snooker and the AI is successful first time.

game is ridiculous. Play against the worst player on easy, You don't even leave abad shot and they clear up......
