I believe for the price of the game, at the very least should be the option to start a career as an amateur player that you've been able to create yourself. Every other major sporting game has this ability. Fifa, Tiger Woods etc.

I'd pay over the odds just for this one feature. I'd love to create friends and family too.

Why can't it be added as an update? The game menus suggest its already there and the devs say it was intended.

I think The game director in the interview already said it’s too big a feature to add with an update so it’ll have to be done on the new game.

A kit shop with a load of merchandise, cues and clothing will be a good addition too! God if i had the resources to make a snooker game it would be world class.

Basically exactly like the TW PGA tour games but instead of hitting golf balls you shoot some snooker.

Not sure why its hard. They have 128 players. Mix the faces up, let us choose one, name it, and that's it. I don't care if the commentator doesn't call me by name (but that would be nice).

I'm not spending time advancing someone else's career. Career mode is all I play on sports games and all I'm interested in. RTTS in MLB, Career in Fifa, Career in Ashes..
No self career = zero interest in playing
Career and I'll buy it now

Well said indeed. A character creator should have a been a no-brainer. I like the gameplay too much not to play, but I'll never feel fully immersed or as though my career has started until I can see my own name rising up the rankings.

Sorry forgot about this thread! When I bought the game on day 1 I was trying to press RB to go to the "My Pro" tab but it would never let me. At the time I thought it was because they didnt have time to put it in. I stopped playing for a while and when I came back it was available, however it obviously wasn't what I thought it was! :(

Oh, I see. No, the My Pro option is just to see the stats of whichever professional you've decided to play as.

To be fair if there was career mode then I'd buy it. I guess I have to wait until the next game.
