the only issue i have with carriers is that one side can make massive carriers and the other only has a escort carrier. its way too easy for escort carriers to get out performed both on the offense and defense

Not really? single levy fleets sure they might get outpreformed, but duel levy fleets can easily rival the OSP fleet carriers in capability. And i mean thats what they are, escort carriers. just take 2 to turn them into a not-escort-carrier type deal.

Really looking forwards to a reason to play. This game looks fantastic but PvE-Coop is what we're waiting for. Thank you for your continued development.

As a player who disrespected hellbombing, sad to hear s2 bombs can't be used as finishers on fighters. But if s1 bombs can deal with the DT of reinforced stuff as good(have to test that still), then i'm happy. Finally those would be used at least xD

You can still buff Rebound reload time with ammo elevators, so not all is lost.

You can still bring S2 missiles for anti-ship strike on your fighters? Both the Tanto and Barracuda can fit S2s and some S1s for ACM

i mean, instead of light strike / in addition, fighters could be useful for anti-missile work? or scouting? that is kinda the traditional role.

Bold changes...
PVP balance will always be whack a mole. Looking forward to an eventual single player campaign. If it has supply lines and battle damage then the game can actually be balanced around the scenario and context rather than points that can abuse OP things
