Scryer doesn't filter out cluster decoys
What's the key to making these modules work? I've spammed plenty of scryers, track correlators, adaptives, citadel cic, intelligence centers, and analysis indexes - they do not seem to filter out the decoys, and radar tracks will show "track unknown" while the PD fires relentlessly on them allowing the actual payload to hit my ship.

That is the fun bit: you dont.
The only way to stop decoys to overrun your PD is to stop the missile bevor they are deployed or have some softkill and dodge moves ready.

Also the Scryer modul is only for a quick identification. Only one is needed to quickly know if you need to go full stop (wake), turn off your radar (AntiRad) or pray for softkill/jam to work (everything else but EO).

To expand upon the why decoys fired from missiles are automatically tagged with the "priority PD target" tag. This is because before they did this it was fairly trivial to totally ignore decoys by just setting the actual missile to be priority, making the PD shoot only the missile.

The best way to deal with decoys is to have flak, as the decoys have incredibly low HP and will easily die to flakburst. Alternatively intercepting them before they deploy either via AMM or long range PD options is your best bet.

we talk about the decoy lauchers (3 for 16cp and 6 for 32cp) for the missiles.
OSPs shipdecoys are easy to defeat... just send out one cheap missile. The missiles sensors will lift the fog of war and show its true nature... somehow...

Auroras are also quite capable of dealing with decoys, and serve an additional purpose of stopping leaking missiles quickly where flak might fail.

I said EO decoy containers, referring the the common combo of a container missile employing an EO seeker and a decoy module.
