P.S. Have you seen the pose she does when you hold up on the D-pad? A pose like that is literally made to be snappy and dynamic and instead she just like flops her arms into the stance and it looks mega lame.
Would be nice to see a greater reward from the risk of the slower weapons.
Its tough to balance because if you make the reward too high then it becomes very easy to just go for one big hit in super safe situations and to run away and play a very defensive hit-and-run style in things like boss fights. Fast short range weapons typically have higher DPS but you have to stay closer to the enemy longer to get all those hits in.
Then again, I'm pretty sure the Classic Whip will return as the fabled Whip Sword, but I honestly think the job was really done well in distnguishing weapon types, Now If only we can work on those Axes to make them more different than a heavier 2H Sword.
