Worst performance of all time

average 35 fps with a i7 3.6gz, 16gb ram, and a RX 580 gpu. This game's port job and optimization is pathetic and the devs should be ashamed.

Apparently, you don't understand how complex and complicated software and games are. Judging by the overall reviews and feedback you can be assured that the game is running fine on most configurations, but there might be always some problems.

I'm not sure if the devs and/or support do monitor this forum, but in general you do increase the chance that somebody cares about your problem when are you friendly.

i loved the game but i mean that can be just me in that case and its the old game they just added a few new things so at the same time if you love the old one you will love this

Just play the original game on PC with patch.

I used to play it on 9700k and gtx 1080 locked at 90 fps (max frame cap)

Someone on the GOG forums pointed out the performance issues are gone when more programs (like web browser) are running in the background.

I can only say that 95 % of the time, it was stable for me. FPS being instable and staying around 30 only happened on one or two days and I have no idea what causes that huge difference.
But just now, having some more programms run and restarting did make it run smoothly again.

Even Gears 5 runs at a solid 60fps on ultra settings for me. This game is a seriously ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up piece of garbage.

3820@3.6ghz, It's an older one released around 2011. Oh would you look at that, Borderlands 3 also runs like a dream, albeit on medium for me, at 60fps, without dropping below 60 often, except when I get in a car and drive around then it automatically goes down to lik 50 for some reason which I'm sure they might establish and fix in a patch. Oops did i hurt your feelings, sorry i dont care. Also the truth is that 60fps is extreamly low for any borderlands title, nothing to be proud of, i get 300 fps constantly in BL3 easily
