The game is great, but ruined by the random inclusion of 2K launcher and DRM with today's update. REMOVE IT NOW, 2K!! It's a single player game that's over 10 years old, ffs!

BYPASS THE 2K LAUNCHER HERE:

2K added a launcher to our games and -if you don't know how to bypass- can make the game give us an ERROR message instead of fun. The Error comes to show, if Bioshock is not installed on the same drive as Steam itself. There is NO reason to add a Launcher, after 9 1/2 years (other than our sweet Data maybe)! It will decrease your drive space by 1GB tho...
I thought, 2K gave something to us, so I will make a Review as my sign of gratitude!

10/10 Great game.

Then 2K decided they needed to add their garbage launcher through Steam. Annoying but not a big deal right? Wrong. For whatever reason, just today the 2k launcher thinks I don't own the game anymore and wants me to buy it again. I've owned all three games for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ decade now and it's pulling this ♥♥♥♥. Screw off 2K, and screw you Valve for allowing this scammaz.

ive owned this game for 10 years and have enjoyed many playthroughs. all of a sudden i need a 2k launcher to play thge game? WHY!?!?!?! I don't want your crappy launcher bloating up my PC when I already have Steam> I bought the game on Steam 10 years ago! Boycott all companmies that force a launcher on you

Ruined by the 2K launcher update. What was the purpose of adding it to a game they made almost a decade ago, literally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on our faces with this.

Now require some awful launcher. I bought the game on steam. It should be against steam guidelines to require this nonsense to play a game, especially as this was NOT the case when I purchased the game.

I'm very dissapointed that you guys added useless crappy launcher compulsory to play this game. this is a 9 year old game. Why would you add the requirement to launch the game using 3rd party launcher? This is pure anti-consumer. I won't be buying games from you anymore. i'm gonna pirate them all

An illegal and game-breaking launcher has been added to the game.
(Even if you don't care about the business being scummy, the game flat-out doesn't work anymore from a technical perspective).

Report this game listing to Steam for malicious software.

2K collected our information, then in September they were hacked and all of our information was sold online.
Not only was the collection of information illegal, it facilitated further illegal acts that actively harmed customers.
And now I can't even play the game.
