The Ol' One-Two Achievement
I just can't seem to get this one. Is there any trick to it? And yes, I noticed that the achievement wants the combo to be a killing blow. Any combo that's trickier than it seems to count as the killing blow? I swear I've done every combo several times over (as the killing blow), even using a guide as a check list, but I can't figure out which combo I need.

I notice you have the achievement 'Combination Shock' so you have to do that but in CitC but it has to kill the target.

Yes, I already said that I caught that distinction. My question is on whether there are any that are trickier than others. Ones that can be easily missed, even when they are the apparent killing blow.

From what I remember these are the combo's:

Bucking Bronco and Charge
Bucking Bronco and Devil's Kiss
Devil's Kiss and Charge
Murder of Crows and Devil's Kiss
Murder of Crows and Shock Jockey
Possession and Devil's Kiss
Possession and Shock Jockey
Undertow and Shock Jockey

So are you missing one of these?

there are tons of stuff already about this online...
but anyways, yes there are tricks. the two that use possession; the possessed targets MUST kill someone while possessed and while being on fire / shocked
the others are pretty straightforward. just make sure the killing blow is from the combo

It might be possible for the you to finish the enemy off after the possessed ai damages him/her.

I dunno, I did a quick search on it, but there weren't any relevant results for "one-two achievement".

Anyway, what you're saying is possibly the snag I've hit. Shortly after making this post, I had a possessed enemy kill someone while they were both standing under a Tesla Coil (so he was probably eletricuted already), and it gave me 7/8 progress. So maybe I need to get someone a kill while on fire.

DEVIL'S KISS AND CHARGE.

DON'T THROW DEVIL'S KISS ON THE ENEMIES, BUT ON THE GROUND AND THEN HIT THEM WITH CHARGE.
Sorry, my English is not good. :bird:

Wow! I finally got it. Turns out I was missing Bucking Bronco + Devil's Kiss. How was I missing that one? I don't know, because I killed with that combo dozens of times in all of my attempts at figuring out which combo was missing. Geez, frustrating as hell achievement (though it won't be as bad as getting all Blue Ribbons, some of those are seriously asinine), and all because of buggy detection that for some reason didn't want to register the combo AS a combo until just now. -_-

Is this a bug? How can I have the "Ol' One-Two" achievement but not the "Combination Shock"?
B.Ombama Aug 14, 2013 @ 6:49am
you get combo shock in main story, ol' one-two only in clash in the clouds. simple as that.

ps. bronco+charge for me was the trickiest one. enemies died from fall or smash against the wall but only on my nteenth try finally enemy died by charge punch itself.

Achievements can only be unlocked in their respective game mode. So you can't go into Ops Zeal, where there's a really weak Handyman (compared to the campaign mode) to get an easy Heartbreaker achievement.

For the people who didn't get this achievement.
Go check if you do the correct with those combo
"Possession and Devil's Kiss"
"Possession and Shock Jockey"

You don't kill the enemy who got controlled

You need this controlled enemy with igniting or electrify to kill "Other enemy"

For Devil's Kiss, Don't throw it to your pet directly (cause it will got kill)
