Eavesdropper Achievement Problem

I followed every single guide on the internet and searched every location with a fine tooth comb and then when I got to the last Voxophone it said 79/80, I even played the game three times to see if I missed one and I didn't, so what is going on and is anyone else having this problem?

Err you probably did miss something. Which guide have you been using? Also, count the number of Voxophones you have collected, if you dont have 80, then you really did miss something.

Load a game on the very ending of the game, bring up your inventory and check your Voxophones, compare to any list and see if you're actually missing any.

You can probably pinpoint the one you're missing this way and just loadup the level you need for it.

Yeah, worked for me, I was sure I had them all, and I just happened to miss the very last Voxophone.

That's the problem I checked my list of Voxophone's and it said I had all 80 but one did not register as found, Strange!

Discovered what the problem was, every Voxophone was registering and then one later after Patch 6 did not register and then when Patch 7 dropped it registered so I think Patch 6 broke the Achievement and the Patch 7 fixed it.

Um... unless I missed something, you can't just "load-up" a level. You either start from your most recent save or start over.

Main Menu> Play game > Load Chapter > Select checkpoint, ta-da.

Obviously not all checkpoints are available, only the ones before fights and such, but there's plenty as to replay any part of the game as you see fit and to collect whatever you might have missed.

Sorry to bring up a post from 2 years ago, man. But I'm having the same problem, and looking for a solution. With the last 2 voxaphones that I picked up, steam said 79/80. Now I can't get the achievement no matter how many times I get them again.

Do you, by any chance, remember how you fixed it? I don't get what you mean by Patch 7. It was an steam update?

Again, sorry for bumping this up. BUT I JUST GOT IT. So, in case someone finds this post in the future like me, here's how I solved it.

Since there's no way for going back to a previous version of the game, I disabled all the DLC's hoping that would do the trick. I went back to the Salty Oyster Bar secret room, where was the voxaphone that repeated 79/80 in my case. Took the voxa and... achievement unlocked!

Hope this helps if someone else got the same problem.

Hey man, I think I have the same problem.. I dont have any DLC, and I can get the achievement updated, the one that I missed is "Heaven" by Daisy Fitzroy in Battleship Bay.. I do really need some help..
