[SPOLIERS] Triggers for end of credits scene

Both times I've played through the campaign I get the bonus scene at the end of the credits where Booker is back in his office/apartment. Meanwhile, my friend never got this ending and it just went back to the main menu. Although his choices in the game were similar to mine, there were some differences. For example, he chose the cage pendant and I chose the bird pendant. He also stole from businesses and killed neutral citizens (accidentally) but I did not. I can only speculate what the actual triggers are, if any, so I'm curious what other people experienced.

So for the other Bioshock Infinite players out there, what choices did you make in the game and did you receive the bonus scene at the end?

The choices do not matter in this game, as far as I know. If it matters, I killed the insurgent dude in the museum, stole from businesses, and chose the bird. I didn't kill the civilians. I had the ending, and, as far as I know, everyone does because that version of Booker exists no matter what you do as the Booker that gave away his daughter.

Everybody should get the same ending. No matter what choices you made during the game. The only thing you influence is what brooch Elizabeth wears

You will only see the part after the credits if you watch the all the credits and don't skip it.

I guess my friend was just impatient, although he swears he didn't hit any key or touch the mouse until it lead him back to the main menu.

I always wait through the credits to see if there's something afterwards - this isn't the first game to do it.
