Walking and Sprinting buttons? Is it just me?
Or are these buttons really stupid?

If you start sprinting and you stop moving, you need to press sprint again to sprint again. I guess that's okay, I would've preferred an option where I can just hold the button down.

The walk button is a more annoying issue. Yeah, it may not seem important to some, but I love walking/walk buttons for immersion's sake. You can't strafe and walk at the same time. If you press the button and move left or right, you'll walk for a second and then start running again. I don't think you can walk backwards at all. You can only walk if you're pressing W and moving forward. Like sprinting, if you stop moving, you gotta press it again, but it seems like it's on a timer. If you press it, wait a few seconds and start moving again, then you'll just move normally.

Is that how it is for everyone else?

BioShock Infinite (as most FPSs are) was created around the concept of the player using a controller instead of keyboard.

Therefore, walking and sprinting are both awkward on the keyboard (I know, because that's what I use too).

If you really want to walk without awkwardness, I recommend using a controller.

That isn't to say that the functionality isn't there... it is.... but I'm saying that keyboards are never great for variable speed.

Pressure sensitive keys? Is there even such a keyboard? lol

Yeah, I hooked up an Xbox Controller for a while...

Unfortunately, I absolutely hate aiming with with an analog stick... And I hate moving with a keyboard...

Oh, woe is me.

There' s only one way to solve this. Hook up both peripherals, and move with the controller whilst aiming with the mouse.
