Command Deck
I'm having trouble getting thru the Command deck board. Between the gunships. Zeppelins, and Patriots, I can't kill them all before they blow up the coil. I use the songbird as often as I can, but I still can't beat this board. I'm using a sniper rifle and machine gun mostly. Are there better weapons for this board? Tactics?

I set a alot of traps both Return to Sender and Fireball. That helped. However, I am stuck too.

Okay, a sure fire way to beat this level is use Possesion and control both man and Patriots. They turn and stop firing on the coil while helping you against the others.

Max out return to sender and undertow, the sniper rifle, and a high damage weapon BEFORE you get there. Make sure you have full health, salts, and ammo.
Put 4-8 return to sender traps around the core.
Carefully select your clothing, and it's a matter of choice here.
Try to stay alive while killing as many as possible, you can't hide for long, you have to be ready to call on songbird.
Really, I don't know how I did it, but I was on the spylines a lot.

Its really very easy, once you figure out what to do..

1. Pepper the core with Return to Sender. Cover it literally. Then nothing can damage it except the Gun Ships..There are plenty of salts on this level.

2 Take out the Gun Ship with song bird and the first Wave of Soldiers. When taking on the Soldiers Make sure to take out the Rocket Guys Quickly. As the Rockets will STill damage the core even with RTS. Just undertow them off the edge. (There are two gun ships you will have to take out I think)

3. Take out Zepplin on Right side of your ship with songbird.

4 . Take out second Wave of Soldiers. This one has Patriots. Note that no one is trying to kill you just the core. (but core is protected with RTS) Take the rails to the top Walkways behind everyone. To make it really simple.. Undertow a patriot up to the top where you are. he will dissapear. Move to the other side and do the same to the other patriot. Then finish off the Soldiers.

5. Take out Zepplin on Left side of you ship with songbirid.

6. Repeat step 4

7. Take out Zepplin on Right side.

8. Fight over

I beat this fight on 1999 Mode in a few minutes using the exact method above. Ship took no damage and niether did I.

Found that by using up the Salts on the main deck to lay down alternating lines of Shock/Devils Kiss/Crows traps from the where they first climb onto the main deck and in the spaces between the stacked cargo, you can delay the invaders long enough to give time for SongBird to drop on them. Also drop traps in the upper deck areas where the Rocket guys show up. Takes alot of running around between assault waves to maintain the traps but this is how I first was able to make it through in one piece.
