I'm guessing the Handyman is the offshoot of Finks research into making the SongBird.
I agree with you, thats exactly what I thought. :))
That voxophone was about Handy-mans, sickened people who are turned into half-man half-machine with a artificial heart to keep them alive.
No, it was about Songbird, he even mentions how he's planning to give the final product to Comstock since he might need it for the tower he's building.
Also on the art book there's an earlier plan where the Songbird eyes are similar grid shields in it eyes, the book also mentions the first idea of the "Songbird" was a dragon.
SPOILER
Booker is:
Himself/ the player's character (obviously)
Comstock
Songbird
The player's Booker gets willingly drowned at the end of the game by Elizabeth.
Comstock gets drowned in the baptismal font.
Songbird gets drowned/crushed in the ocean.
Is it just coincidence that all three died by water?
Yeah, he did get his head smashed in, but he was killed by the drowning.
That is a good theory. But, I dont think Constance Field was alive when Elizabeth was a child. Becuase in the game it says that Songbird was her keeper when Elizabeth was a child, so unless I missed the date the voxophone was recorded for Constance, she couldn't be the person in Songbird because she is so young, correct me if im wrong
