I can only hear my Character in the Center if he speaks, nothing else
Will let you know.
However, using my Tritton 5.1 headphone and using the onboard sound outputs work for me.
So when the games center channel doesnt work for me I use the onboard sound card as my alterative. I'd rather not have to use my headphones though.
I would love to figure out whats going on.
Fixed it with manually going to windows sound playback device options, and having center channel at 100% and rest at 60%.
Edit: well that wasnt really a fix, just a band aid.
Wish the audio quality was better, some things sound excellent while other material is clipped and distorted, especially anything intended to be 'loud', thankfully not as bad as many other titles but really missed opportunity. However Tomb Raider overall is my current demo for sound quality in a game; mostly distortion free and richly subtle but dynamic with nice punch and deep bass when appropriate.
I wonder if folks need to make sure to install the OpenAL driver pack first ?
I tried to explain to a poster on the 2K forums a few weeks ago, but he didn't believe me.
