Game crashing after 5-10 minutes

The furthest I've gotten is past the cloud layer overlooking the city in the capsule, then the game just crashes with the ususal "...stopped responding" message. Sometimes it just crashes right in the main menu. It's running at stable 60 FPS with everything maxed, my hardware isn't getting hot in the slightest and there's absolutely nothing indicating that anything else is wrong. Tried verifying game files and updated my gfx drivers, which only seems to have made it worse.

Intel Core i7 2700k at 5GHz
3GB GeForce GTX 580
8GB DDR3 RAM

I really shouldn't have a problem running this, I'm so sick of beta testing triple-A games.

Having the same problem. I have gotten as far as seeing the city, then it crashes.

The Omnissiah's blessings are not in my favour this day. I will continue tending the rituals until a tech-priest can weigh in on the matter.

I´m having the same problem as you, no matter what graphic config i set. Despite of the fact i have a laptop it´s a powerful one (16GB of RAM, GTX670M...), and i shouldn´t have problems running the game but i have. And of course, i have the latest drivers...

Having the same problem here. Laptop with 12 gb of ram, GTX670M. Game just frezzes after a few minutes but the audio keeps playing fine. I have to force quit from the task manager.

The thing is, the higher the you set the graphics the less it takes to freeze. I guess it´s something obvious but is kind of a "hint"

It loads through the first initial screens for me like the 2k, irrational games, the AMD logo, then it shuts down my whole PC. Happened twice now, I'm going for an uninstall and reinstall to try to get into the game.

mine crashes right at the big glass window as youre going down in the chair. the picture of father or w/e. happens every time same place....

For those with Nvidia cards a new driver release specifically for this title was released a few hours ago. .

Yep, I have that installed. It didn't only crash on me, it BSOD'd me. Pretty crazy. Booting it up again, but if I get another BSOD like the last one, it'll be demanding refund time.

I had the updated driver installed before I played the game so it don't fix this specific issue.
