IGN EXCLUSIVE review! WTF??

IGN will publish their review tomorrow (3/21) at 9pm EST. but what really grinds my gears is who does exclusive reviews in this day and age? 2k/Irrational gave IGN permission to forego the embargo four days in advance than any other site.

WHY? this spells a more favoured review with a fluffed up score.

i am still very hyped for this game and i hope it is an amazing game, but i am here to discuss and not to flame or hate. i had no idea that IGN had this exclusive until a few hours ago but with this news and seeing the tons of preorder bonuses and cash back, etc just raises a _lot_ of questions to me.

2k isn't doing the incentives. Distributors are. Clearly you never played a Ken Levine game if you think this game is going to flop. Any time i see "flop" and "Bioshock Infinite" together i /facepalm.

BI won't flop because of incentives, and I don't think distributors are giving incentives as there is no logic that they would sell so many games with loss or 1% margin.

money obviously changed hands... ign got themselves a few steps ahead of the rest.

it's unusual to have a review so early before release date. if people are concerned about 'bias' reviews, they should wait for average reviews once the game is released.
