November 12 Release of Burial At Sea, Part One
Finally, they have announced the release date. It's almost a month later than I thought they would release it. Is everyone as excited as I am to finally get my hands on it?

No coffee for me; just a nice cup of tea and I'll be good to go. And yes, I'm very excited. :gordon:

I may have to take the day off, saying I plan to celebrate Veterans Day (November 11) pretty hard!

Might play other games untill part 2 comes out and then play them together. I don't want to get into the story only to have to sit around for 2 months or more waiting to finish it. I did that With Dishonored's 2 story dlcs and it wasn't as much fun trying to get back into the storyline after a layoff from playing.

It may not have the mechanics of Bioshock 1 (I am going to miss hacking everything in sight to gain an advantage) but I am looking forward to this.

I am also curious to see how the events of Infinite have affected Elizabeth's character.

So they say this Elizabeth is the one from the game we played, but dude,********************spoooilers*********************** we saw her dissapear, like, she ceased to exist, no Comstock = No Elizabeth. She having those powers was on Comstock too. So what the ♥♥♥♥ is all that about?

I have a theory about that, but I have probably said too much in the wrong thread.

It is the prospect of the story and character progression that has got me intrigued about Burial at Sea. Quite apart from Bioshock Infinite colliding with Bioshock 1.

Did we really see her disappear? There was one Elizabeth left when the screen went blank and the final tone played. Everyone assumed that she disappeared too, but we never actually saw her disappear. We also never saw Anna in her crib at the very end of the game. Seeing is believing, and we never saw either one, so this could be the same Elizabeth. Also, just because the Elizabeths disappeared, that doesn't mean that they're dead. They may have just gone back into their individual universe tears. So if the final Elizabeth belonged in her universe, she wouldn't disappear. But the question is now: How does she get to Rapture, and why is she there? How did Booker come from to be in Rapture 46 years after the fall of Columbia? And why does Elizabeth need Booker to do what she needs to do in Rapture?

I bought the season pass on day one and felt burned it's taken so long and that one of the DLC is just horde mode. I also feel a little disappointed that the remaining two DLC are both the same. I wanted different stories for all three. I am looking forward to it, though.

True, true, I read about that, and I didn't realise by the time I was playing, the "real" Elizabeth is not at the baptism. But still, Elizabeth still existing defeats the whole pourpose of our mission in Infinite, we'll have to wait and see...

In a different "timeline" instead of Elizabeth insisting on going to kill Comstock when you free you from the scientists, she takes you up on your offer to heads to Paris then. She has the way to stop Songbird, and Columbia is pretty much ruined from the Vox revolution at that point. The story can branch off at many different points, not just at the baptism.

That was awesome much much more intense and much more bioshock in it in my opinion.
