Burial at Sea weapon problem (glitch?)
In Burial at Sea I find I can't pick up a weapon that I previously had (e.g. once I have tommy gun and carbine I cannot pick up any hand cannons). This usually means by the end I'm stuck with the shotgun and radar range (not that I'm complaining about that weapon selection).

Weapons I would be able to pick up outside the DLC don't flash red but if I'm not full on their respective ammunitions I get ammo from them with the typical sound effect of doing so, and they disappear when I do so (until I'm full up on ammo). There is never any option to wield them.

I haven't played the first two Bioshocks but I am aware that they have a different weapon system to Infinite - as you pick up each weapon you keep all of them and can swap between them any time. Does Burial at Sea attempt to emulate this? There's nothing in-game to hint at this and I've looked at the controls menu and there's nothing about it so I'm inclined to think this is some kind of glitch...

you have to hold the switch weapon button in order to show the weapon wheel. they dont really explain it well in game, I didnt know it as well until someone told me :/

Yeah you're not limited to just two anymore just press and hold e to switch to that prespective weapon. If the weapon you see on the floor you can't pick up or be it just disappears, it means that gun is full of ammo and that two your gun needed that ammo regardless of the ammount you have even if you just needed 1 bullet when the gun carried 4. etc. this is what i think you meam if not than I have never expeienced this in game.
I just tried what you recommended in-game now and it works. Thanks very much!

i like the weapon wheel, but i REALLY hate the quickswitch issues it brings up. because i like to have E as "use", everytime i search an item with E, it still forces me to take all with F, the default "use." and then because of that, pressing E when searching will cause my weapons to quickswitch every now and then. its like it forces to recognize the default settings in certain parts. although it is a great dlc so far, LOTTA lil probs really tick me off thats taking away the experience.

They removed the limit? So I seriously just ran around meleeing everyone because I thought I was stuck with the shotgun and microwave gun with no ammo?

I encountered this problem too...about 3 hours too late into the 4hr long DLC...

Yeah, the weapon wheel. They could at least tell player about it, cuz I found it right before the final battle with mr. Bubbles.
