The next BioShock: Elysium?
First a city under water. Then above the skies. Where will you think the next BioShock will take place?

I think: maybe a city in the space. Maybe a city like Elysium[en.wikipedia.org]. And I think the movie Elysium[en.wikipedia.org] will be a excellent basis for a BioShock game at all. A city, set in the future. A city exclusive for the upper class, that expel the lower classes. I think that will be a excellent setting for a BioShock game.
The city should probably not be called Elysium (by copyright reasons). But the concept could be taken.
I know, that there exist plenty of FPS-games that sets in the space. But I think, that a near-Earth city, combined with the BioShock concept, will be original enough to be viable.

If the next Bioshock is set on Mars I want 10% of the profits! xD

Since you said that they are going to take the same exact idea and make it take place on Pluto :P

Hey! Don't dis on Pluto! And Who said anything about being habitable? I don't think Columbia or Rapture would be very habitable in real life. Pluto it is!

I thought the altitude was pretty high in Columbia... Rapture I feel like it be too much pressure so even if you did build something it would collapse in no time.

Well honestly, I'd much rather shoot fire from my hands than live in the sky or underwater

An entire city built along the interior walls of an enclosed sphere (like a micro Dyson Sphere). A small, bright object (a small star perhaps, or controlled energy of some form?) suspended in the middle provides light and energy. The inhabitants of the city are oblivious to the outside world. In reality, they're sphere floating in space, isolated from the rest of the universe.

HOW ABOUT A PERFECTLY NORMAL LAND-BASED BIOSHOCK WORLD WITH NOTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY.

^Radical game of the year idea right here. Trust me. It will sell.
