How to Manually Save In Game

Hello,

I managed to work through the multiple DirectX 11 crashes and now playing the game. Does anyone know how to manually save the game. I know that there is an "auto save" feature, but I am looking for a way to save the game manually.

It pisses me off a bit though, it's really annoying to have to complete 30 minutes of gameplay (thorough explorer here ;)) to get to the next checkpoint when you realise you should've gone to bed 15 minutes ago ;)

Got it. I work with a lot of developers and hat sounds like a very plausable, technical reason. Still, the game is better than the BioShock II game.... still would be nice not to have this DirectX 11 crashing bug.

I am with the most of you. I hate the autosave crap as well and I truly value the PC over console for this reason mostly over the many other advantages for PC. I have a wife and child and I don't have tons of time to try to rush to a save zone.

Okay, you lost the autosaves....urg, but fine. But could in the future if this crap continues, could you please have a specific spot in each map that you can just go to to save? That way, for those of us who have lives can just save and go on with our normal lifes instead of being late for a childs doctors appointment or myself being late for work in the future.

Could this please be done in the future?

This should honestly be 'game of the year' but yes I agree, this really does hurt the game. I understand that to save anywhere could hurt the experience, like it does with Horror games, but a save spot should be at least offered.

Could not agree more...HATE, HATE the auto save!!!! Lazy developers plus the consoles have ruined so many great aspects for PC games. Games are shorter and cost more! That said...where can I find the auto save file? I may have to reinstal game and don't want to start all over?

I spoke already and I am there with you. But to add, I felt that I had to rush a few areas and I could have enjoyed this game more if I didn't have to. Thats right, the fun factor for at least me did drop.

I stand by what I said, certain areas should not be just able to just autosave in like during Boss fights in certain games and Horror games in others. But since Elizabeth just revives you right in the middle of combat with no harm to her, what is up with not allowing autosaving other than to show that this is a console port.

A well done console port and the first console port that I actually truly enjoyed, but still a console port all the same on the PC.

I found it very refreshing to not have auto save....I seemed to micro play the other games. That lead to very slow progression.

Yeah, the choice of loosing the last 20 mins or continue when you already want to be in bed. This developer seems to hate their customers.

autosave only is just developer brain fart. Escpecially in Egoshooters.
