Elizabeth Stuck On Sky Rails
I have Booker telling Elizabeth, after defeating Slate and returning to the Hall Of Heroes, that she can 'come out of cover'. Hmm...there' just one problem with that. She is still hanging on to the rails way up at the place where Slate was. And nothing will make her move from there.

And of course....the fact that I am not allowed to save the game when I want to ( rather than at stupid checkpoints ) means I have to go back haf an hour to sort out a bug in the game.

Sigh.

Yeah. I had that problem. I went all the way back to find her, got off the skylines at the beginning point to get her unstuck, got back on and got off again at another building on the way back to the Hall of Heroes. She did land on the building but only after I walked off to the highest point of the building otherwise she stayed stuck on the skylines. Once we got back on the skyline she finally followed me back to the Hall of Heroes. Unfortunately, it was just a no go for me if I didn't do all of that.

I went back twice, unsure whether she was stuck or it was part of the game. The worst aspect was that Booker kept rambling on to her as if she was actually there.....even at one point telling her to come out of cover. I am not even sure whether simply moving on to the next chapter would make her return....I doubt it though.

Her movements and at times lack of them were the one thing about this game that drove me nuts. She'd follow you into a room then box you in and not let you leave. Every time I wanted to use an elevator she couldn't be bothered to follow me in. I finally got frustrated enough to say the heck with it, she can stay there, and I'll just go on my merry way. Turns out pushing the button is what finally gets her butt to move inside and if it don't...well strangely enough a couple of times she just magically teleports in there and pretends she was in the elevator the whole time. Never tried to start another chapter without her so I'm not sure if she'll magically teleport herself there or not. Except for the elevator buttons, all the other times she got stuck somewhere I had to keep going back for her and play follow the leader.

Yes the magical teleportations are a bit annoying. One minute she's 50 yards behind and then I round a corner and she's 50 yards in front. Havent had her get in the way yet, but what I DO find annoying is when I'm right in the middle of a fight and I get suddenly forced to hit 'F' to play some scene of me catching a silver eagle....and I completely lose track of who i was shooting.

Yeah, that was a bit irritating. Sometimes I would ignore those and other stuff like offered ammo and just switch weapons so I wouldn't lose track of my targets. The animation doesn't start until you hit f and if you ignore those they disappear from the screen. The drawback is she usually doesn't offer money again. And you will be forced to accept the other stuff at times if you want to keep fighting. I can see why they did that though. It would be really weird if you didn't have to turn and catch whatever she throws at you like you would in a real life firefight. It's weird enough that she finds whatver you need out of thin air. Though perhaps you could explain it away as she's opening a tear somewhere to get that stuff while your back is turned fighting your opponents. I think the alternative of having the ammo magically appear in the gun while you're shooting would be ridiculous and unrealistic. I don't know if I could suspend my disbelief for that one.

She should always teleport near you if you continue, you don't have to lead her, unless she is really bugged. In this case go further or back to enter a new area (loading screen), should fix it.
