Devils Kiss/Charge for Combination Shock

Is this achievement glitched, possibly? No matter what I try, the DK/C combination will not work for me. I know it's the only combo I'm missing because I kept track of every unlock throughout the game. I've heard it's hard to get this with upgraded DK because the initial damage is too high to charge in time, but I've tried this against hardened enemies and it still won't work.

Try the Bucking Bronco + Charge combo with the Burning Halo gear equipped.
