Highly, highly doubtful.

I'm not even sure how it could be done in a game like this.

I can understand that some people want more or less blood and gore and i've played games that give you an option to turn it up or down, but seriously dude did you not see the "Rated M for Mature for blood and gore, and intense violence? I mean if you see that on a rating you should expect a certain degree of blood and gore and accept it, not try to change the game just because you don't like it. Play or don't play, simple as that. I think that the main problem with the card game Solitare is a huge lack of b00bies but you don't see me trying to change the game and add some in, i just play it as is.

I think he saw the rating and that's why he's asking. He doesn't own it yet so he's probably asking before he decides to buy it or not. Anyhow, no you can't reduce it. It would be one thing if it was just blood spatter but the gore in this game is on a whole other level.

The gore in this game is over-the-top, but you'd just have to deal with it if you want to play it.

I don't mind gore myself. However, I personally feel it's a little out of place in the Bioshock franchise. As soon as I saw the skyhook I was like. "This is going somewhere bad." And when I first used it, I sighed.

I've played them all, and never really attributed gore to the series. ( Bioshock 1 spoiler --> aside from the one scene in the first where you jam a golfclub into Andrew Ryan's skull ). I don't see one scene across 2 games enough to attribute gore to a series, So I was a little put off by it.

That said, I can kind of understand why the OP brings it up. Whether for the same reasons or not, I don't know. That's just my take on the issue.

I know that.. i honestly don't understand why you're complaining about reading spoiler text, regardless of the game it's from. It's relevant, and it's a spoiler. thus it goes in spoiler text... but, eh.

Of course you know that, meant for other people who has played infinite but not the earlier games. There are alot of them. Still won't really matter because they'll read your text before mine.

And I think I was entitled to a complaint, I wasn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or cursing you out for writing a spoiler. I was only saying, ♥♥♥♥, it was released 6 years ago and the first time that I found out anything about the story was the night before I was finally going to play it.

I always felt like there was something missing from Solitaire myself...... that just might fix it, just might.....

I am by no means a philosophy major or anything like that but I have played them all multiple times and I always felt the level of gore appropriate if not a bit tame. It fit the scenarios and character bios perfectly and helped in identifying with them.
***Some spoilers ahead*****
Booker Dewitt was a brutal and cold man. His whole line of work and history involved extreme violence with Wounded Knee, being a Pinkerton and the dark path he led himself down with other choices I won't say here. Columbia is a serene Utopia looking in from the outside but when you see the ugly and violence within it helps show the ficade. The truth that is veiled under false promises of a better ideal world. I also felt like a well trained individual in combat and very empowered by doing the things that Booker does when faced against such horrible odds. To be all that and do all those things its nice to see him find his softer side and accept redemption and self sacrifice.

sorry for the long censored point of view. I didn't want to ruin anything for anyone.
