Who else thought Booker and Elizabeth were a couple
I know it's rather late that I finally played through the game... Me and my friend played it together getting thrilled about the plot and how the two characters grew more and more concerned about each other. Especially that part where Elizabeth got caught by Comstock and was tortured.
BUT never had we figured out the true relationship between them! The ending is perfect and shocking in a way. But we just feel really bad about thinking of them as a couple all the way.

I figured they were not going to be a couple (romantic) after Booker bought Elizabeth the hotdog on he Boardwalk and said "South of forty. North of you" He put a lot of emphsis on "north of you" which gave me hint that he had no romantic notions about her. Of course you may not have seen that. sm

Before I played that game, I thought they would be a couple. I just assumed they would be after I saw some screenshots and trailers. When some indication of Booker and Elizabeth's ages are given, I kinda figured that they wouldn't be.

The ending was the biggest ♥♥♥♥ block ever.

I thought they would be a couple... Especially in the part where she asks him to kill her in case Songbird caughts her again... And in the part that she "sacrifced" herself to save Booker's life...
Maybe even Elizabeth thought that she could have a relationship until she saw the truth. But it was clear to me that the relation between them was more of a protective way... Anyway, the final transformed a "romantic" story in a finding Nemo in Columbia XD
