Bioshock Infinite won't launch

When I click on play in steam i get a pop-up asking me if I want to play Bioshock or if I want to open the benchmark utility. When I click on play Bioshock it goes away for a second and then the same screen comes back up.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Have you launched the benchmark yet? If you haven't you need to do so since it's part of the set procedure for the game. sm

After I launch the benchmark and fill in the specifications the same screen comes up and nothing changes, am I using the wrong settings or is there something else going on?

After I've verified it and I click on play, it still comes up with the screen I got before but now this screen disappears when I click on play and nothing happens after

Also make sure to close all unnecesary background applications

This sounds crazy but my game doesn't launch unless I plug in my Logitech G35 headset. Haven't tried since the update though.

Same here. Reloaded from the disks I have and waited for all updates. Checked drivers for graphics.
Rebooted several times. Defrag get after install of game. Tried dx11 solution. Game still won't load. Get to play game or run benchmark. Tried running benchmark and get through the questions. Tried all settings for resolution and quality.
AMD 8350 at 4.1ghz
16 gb ram
Win 7
R9 380 4 gb

I dont know if this is why the game plays now, but I redownloaded the AMD Catalyst 15.20 after trying everything else (had just installed the new gpu R9 380, used the disk it came with). loaded the game and works great. windows wants to go to basic color mode, but always returns when I exit the game. good luck.
