Is the Bioshock Infinite download along with the DLC compressed?

Hi

As recommended by my friend, I am planning to buy Bioshock Infinite with the Season Pass DLC during the next sale.
However, he is using a cracked version from some torrent. He had to download 17.5 GB compressed files, which decompressed to 38 GB during installation.
So I have 2 questions:
1) Will Steam make me download 17.5 GB, or 38 GB?
2) Can I copy some files from his computer into mine and not have to download them? Especially texture and audio files, since they are the largest and it is unlikely that they were modified during the cracking process.

My download for the game the other day was 30 gigs and it took 41.4 gigs of space after install was done.

@Moldavia could you do me a favor?

Assuming you have windows:
1) Go to the steamapps Bioshock Infinite folder
2) Hold down shift and right click, you should get an option "Open command window here". Click on it.
3) type "tree > tree.txt" without the double quotes.
4) You should now have a file called tree.txt, upload it somewhere and post the link here.

I just want to know the directory structre, the best case scenario is that I will be able to copy most of the files and then just tell Steam to 'verify cache' to fix any cracked ones, or replace any ones that are missing.

1) My friend torrents, recommends good ones, then I buy if I find it interesting too. Also I saw a large amount of good reviews about Infinite.
