[Solved] Windows 10 Help
I tried to play this game recently, but this error message popped up,

"Bioshock Infinite requires that your graphics hardware be compatible with DirectX 10 or DirectX 11, and have the DirectX 11 Runtime installed."

I have the latest Nvidia drivers, and my graphics hardware should be compatible, since it ran perfectly on Windows 7 with literally the same exact specs. Here are my specs, just in case:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690K CPU @ 3.50GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Video Card
8.1 GB of Memory

Edit: It turns out SweetFX was the root of the problem, because I uninstalled SweetFX from the game and let the game preform it's install after reinstalling, and the game actually booted up like it should!

It is compatible, it must be a driver issue. Try clean installing the latest drivers. If there is a beta or special driver available, use that one. Nvidia still has some issues with W10.

How do I clean install?

Go to control panel -> system -> advanced -> hardware -and disable automatic driver installs first. Then go to control panel -> programs and features and uninstall everything nvidia-related you can see there. (You can leave physix.) Then reboot, then run the installer you downloaded from nvidia.com.

Yeah, it seems that these things are more on Nvidia's end than Microsoft. Shadow Warrior 2013 won't run in its 64-bit mode, yet it will on an AMD card.

Okay, Dusk, I did a clean install of the Nvidia drivers, and it's still giving me the error. My friend said I need to get DirectX, but I have the latest version of DirectX 12 installed according to dxdiag. What am I doing wrong?

I'll try reinstalling, see if that helps.

I reinstalled, and I still got the error. What now?

Have you dedicated the gpu instead of the intel graphics in the Nvidea system settings to the game?

Go to Nvidea system settings, 3D settings, games -> dedicate the high speed gpu to this game. EDIT: Didn't read the Sweet FX thing.
