File Size 40GB?!
I just purchased the game+season pass bundle, and I'm wondering if anybody can clue me in as to why the file size is so big. I'm not complaining, I was just surprised!

I feel that -- I was expecting to play in a few hours, but that went right out of the window when I saw the ETA.

I guess my main hope is that the comparatively large size means it also has comparatively more content... and if not, well what caused all 40GB of Bioshock Infinite.

It fit on a single DVD, so about 7-8GB. The PC version has much higher resolution texures. Consoles didn't have much VRAM, you need at least 2GB VRAM for the "ultra" textures.

High resolution textures and a detailed world.

You will see...

The main game itself is only about 15GB. It's big because the textures used are very high-quality, plus the DLC packs reuse very little assets from the main game, which result in the DLC being even bigger than the main game (Clash in the Clouds is about 5GB, Burial at Sea is 6-7GB for Episode 1, and 10GB for Episode 2).

That's the initial download size. When unpacked/installed, the size will be bigger.
