Blue Ribbon Cafe

For some reason I cannot get past the lady holding the tray in the Blue Ribbon cafe. She is standing in the doorway blocking progress shown by the green arrow (shown by pressing "N")

Any one else have this problem? or know how to fix

You're supposed to pick up the Shield infusion on the tray (plus all the other infusions/gears in the room if you have the Season Pass and/or the Columbia's Finest pack). Then she'll let you pass.

Thanks for that I just went straight up to the doorway got some of the stuff but not all of it

Does this mean I can't get past her in 1999 Mode?

Uhh... pretty sure you still can. Just do as I said.

The problem is that picking the Infusions, they all maxed out a bar on one. There's five of them in the Blue Ribbon. It's a complete No Sale.

I just did that in 1999 mode last night. If you have the DLC you get a load of gear and infusions laid out on the tables and bar. The only thing I did do is get the infusion from her tray first as that is a narrative element.

Figured out how to get around this. Go to "manage my DLC" on the game's page in your library and unckeck everything. The DLC will be uninstalled and you can play the game as intended without the 'thanks for your money here's baby mode' bonus items the game forces you to pick up to continue.
You may need to manually load your save instead of picking "continue" for this to work- you want to spawn in right at the entrance to the Blue Ribbon, not where you were when the game last autosaved.
