remember when "season pass" actually meant getting all the dlc?
now people create very short "seasons" where they release two dlc and say it encompasses an entire season

What does this have to do with BSI? Has there been some DLC anounced for it that I have not heard about yet? Or are you trying to count the preoreder bonuses (now for sale) as DLC? sm

I remember when buying a game meant buying the whole game.. now you have to wait years for silly GOTY editions.. to get the full experience.

well to be fair the infinite dlc is seperate to the game..as oposed to being a dlc that just adds to the actual story line.

About the Game
Get three DLC packs at an incredible discount only available to Season Pass holders.

BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea - Episode One
Come back to Rapture in a story that brings Booker and Elizabeth to the underwater city on the eve of its fall from grace. Developed by Irrational Games, the studio behind the original BioShock and BioShock Infinite, this DLC features Rapture as you’ve never seen it before—a shining jewel at the bottom of the ocean, built almost entirely from scratch in the BioShock Infinite engine. The combat experience has been rebalanced and reworked with a greater emphasis on stealth and resource management to give the player an original BioShock combat experience that merges the best parts of BioShock and BioShock Infinite. It includes a new weapon, an old favorite weapon from the original BioShock as well as the return of the weapon wheel, a new Plasmid, new Gear, and Tears.

Explore the city when it was at the height of its beauty, meet some old “friends,” and make some new ones, all through the eyes of Booker DeWitt. Why are Booker and Elizabeth in Rapture? What was the city like before everything fell to pieces? The answers to these questions and more will be found in BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea – Episode 1. This pack is included in the BioShock Infinite Season Pass and will contain new Achievements.

BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea - Episode Two
See the world through Elizabeth’s eyes in BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea – Episode Two. Set immediately after the conclusion of Burial at Sea – Episode One, this final episode puts you in the role of Elizabeth as she journeys through Rapture in an effort to rescue the little sister she abandoned. Developed by Irrational Games, the studio behind the original BioShock and BioShock Infinite, this continuation of the Burial at Sea saga features parts of Rapture you’ve never seen before, incudes modified stealth-oriented gameplay that brings you new weapons and plasmids, and involves nearly every major character from the original BioShock and BioShock Infinite. BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea - Episode Two is the last of three BioShock Infinite add-on packs and it concludes the storyline of BioShock Infinite and Burial at Sea. This pack is included in the BioShock Infinite Season Pass and will contain new Trophies.

BioShock Infinite: Clash In the Clouds
This first add-on pack puts an intense focus on BioShock Infinite combat. Combine weapons, Vigors, Gear, Tears, and Sky-Lines in ways you never thought possible as you square off against impossible odds. This pack features 60 challenges in four brand-new environments. Complete Blue Ribbon Challenges and unlock concept art, Voxophones, Kinetoscopes, and more in The Columbian Archeological Society. Climb the Leaderboards and earn new achievements.

BioShock Infinite: Early Bird Special Pack
This instant bonus pack contains four pieces of exclusive gear for BioShock Infinite, a Machine Gun Damage Upgrade, a Pistol Damage Upgrade, a gold skin for both weapons and five Infusion bottles that allow players to increase their health, their shield durability or their ability to use Vigors by increasing the quantity of Salts they can carry.
Here is the actual complete available content which is only listed on the main BSI store page.

for people who still can't understand. you do NOT get "Columbia's Finest" as part of the season pass.....

this presents a situation in which you have to research every games "season pass" or scheme

Meh, why season pass only on 50% while main game at 75% :/ i was waiting for this but seems, will need to wait bit longer till season pass also gets 75%

I mean, ok, i heard dlcs are cool and all but, while game is 7.5$, having to pay 10$ for ITS dlcs feels bit weird and i'm not really willing to.. oh well.

Remember when DLC was called an expansion pack or map pack? And it was FREE? You COD kiddies ruined this for the rest of us by being stupid enough to pay for DLC.

You have no idea what you were talking about. Game development costs rise every year. Irrational could have EASILY recycled assets from Bioshock 1 to make the DLC. It would have been both cheaper and faster, but instead, they went out of their way to re-create almost everything to create a higher quality experience.

Sure, DLC, expansions, and additional content were free 10 years ago. But 10 years ago, DLC, expansions, and additional content didn't require the work of hundreds of people and it didn't cost millions of dollars to create.

I don't see why people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about this, $15 gets you at least 20 hours of quality gameplay, and that's assuming you don't even touch the arena mode or go for collectibles. As for OP's stupid complaint, Columbia's Finest is a DLC pack that contains the items from the special editions of the game to let people get the previously exclusive content. There's no reason it should be in the Season Pass.

This is, of course, a complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ "argument".
There have been retail addons even in the 90s that were complete rip-offs.
Just because now the stuff is distributed to the internet doesn't mean every single retail addon has been great, which is far from the truth.
You act as if all additional stuff for a game has ever been free in the earlier days, which is completely untrue.

Stop spouting delusional crap just to be in with the crowd.
