1998 Mode & Possession?
I'm doing a 1998 Mode runthrough of Burial at Sea Episode 2. It's looking like Possessing people/turrets isn't working as it did in normal mode. When I Possess something, it turns green and won't harm me. But, it also doesn't attack anyone else. I guess I can see the point of this in this mode (stealth, non-lethal). But, just to make sure, is that the Possession behavior others see in 1998 Mode, too?

You can't kill anyone in 1998 mode, so yeah.

In 1998 mode, you can still possess people, but they won't attack anyone, but will still get knocked out after possession. So possession effectively becomes like the tranquilizer dart in 1998 mode.

Yep. Once I confirmed it was expected behavior, that's exactly how I thought of it: a tranquilizer dart for when I'm ot of the real things.

Is my game broken then? I went to play the 1998 mode and I could kill people, and Possesions attacked my enemies.

Yes, I am sure I choose the 1998 mode. Yes, I tried to change the dificulty in game and I could not, it was stucked in "1998 mode". Yes, my navegation was disabled. Yet, it did not feel much hardier then my original gameplay (on hard).

Are you sure it is 1998 mode and not 1999 mode? Both are present in BaSE2 and both have the same secondary effect of disabled navigation. However, you can still kill people, though it is supposed to be harder.
