White screen crash (mild spoiler)

Hi all,

I am experiencing a white screen crash in Bioshock Infinite, just after the scene where
the Songbird descends upon and attacks Booker, throwing him though a window, which then transitions to a nightmare wherein Booker is in his office with the Twins and Elizabeth. They are each saying "Bring us the girl and wipe away the debt". When I leave the office the screen goes white, but instead of transitioning back, it freezes in that state, and I cannot proceed.

Has anyone else experienced this or know a fix? I've verified the game files successfully, but the crash still happens. Thanks for any ideas.

Maybe check your game file cache integrity? Also, make sure your drivers are up to date.

If there was a bad file, the verification should have fixed it. Maybe turning the graphics down a notch? sm

I encountered this error as well. I have encountered many issues with the game involving frame delay/stuttering

For me, these issues seemed to be resolved by:
1.) waiting (it takes a really long time to load through it)
2.) Moving your mouse seems to reload frames
3.) most importantly, do NOT have framerate limit set to "unlocked" for some reason the game does not seem to respond well to no frame limit

Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions! Apologies for the delay in my reply, I have been away for a while. Now I am back and will try these suggestions. Hopefully something will work - Bioshock Infinite is one of my favourite games, and also personally meaningful. If all else fails, I'll just have to reinstall and start all over again!
