Report a translation problem
For me, these issues seemed to be resolved by:
1.) waiting (it takes a really long time to load through it)
2.) Moving your mouse seems to reload frames
3.) most importantly, do NOT have framerate limit set to "unlocked" for some reason the game does not seem to respond well to no frame limit
Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions! Apologies for the delay in my reply, I have been away for a while. Now I am back and will try these suggestions. Hopefully something will work - Bioshock Infinite is one of my favourite games, and also personally meaningful. If all else fails, I'll just have to reinstall and start all over again!
