you should have a Documents\My Games folder containing Bioshock Infinite - did the program get that far to create the subfolders?
Yes, there is a Bioshock Infinite folder within my games in Documents. And I wouldn't know what programs could or coudn't interfere with the game.
Nothing doing. I did what you reccommended, and it asks to be allowed to make changes, then it crashes with no fanfair, not even a start up. No change from the usual behavior.
I have, and it was already set to that.
...\Steam\steamapps\common\BioShock Infinite\Binaries\Win32 Benchmark.bat
I thought about that, and I tried to kill every program I could safely shut down, nothing doing. It even got to the main menu the first time I ran it, but as soon as the game tried to start proper, it crashed, and now it refuses to even run from now on.
.STEAMSTART files, it looks like. One for every time I tried to start the program up.
