But the optional 'Burial at Sea' DLC is a different matter, as this contains spoilers for Bioshock 1.
Honestly, 1 and 2 are sorta their own little world and Infinite is by itself. Honestly the only thing that ties them together is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ending of Infinite and the lame DLCs. I think that Ken Levine decided to end Irrational Games during the making of Infinite when it was like 80% done and that's why Infinite has the weird ending it does that seems tacked on with a pseudo-science pseudo-philosophical explaination. Then the DLCs are just lame attempts to explain further and tie everything together. The story could have been so much better but because Levine was ending things it's all hobbled together...in my opinion.
If you think Bioshock 1 is not that good, i recommend you to skip Bioshock 2 because it's not as good as Bioshock 1.
But, if you want to play the DLCs, at least you must play Bioshock 1.
