Not worse in a bad way though, this game and Burial at Sea are all amazing.
Burial at sea seems to hint at this. However the cycle does apparently end, but only at the Developers' (of the game) discretion.
Would we really want Anna to remember being Elizabeth? Elizabeth was badly damaged mentaly by the end. Everything that had happened her nearly broke her (most people would have gone totaly gibbering insane). It's really for the best she does not remember. Maybe when she grows up the memories would not destroy her.
As for being a totaly different person, I don't think so. While there may be some differences, Anna in most respects should be similar to early game Elizabeth, but with a more life experience. Maybe a little more willing to stand on her own two feet and stronger. sm
