There are subtle nods in Infinite and Burial at Sea to Bioshock 2. I think the version of Rapture containing Bioshock 2 is in another universe. One that Elizabeth saw through the doors, but didn't visit.

There are echoes of Bioshock 2 in Infinite because of "Constants and Variables."

I don't remember anything that renders it noncanon, but I'm just saying that there are no references or links to it like there is for the original BioShock.
