It broke the Windoze version too. I get a missing executable error apparently because the 2K launcher was not installed.

I saw someone in other thread mention to validate your files and it might fix it, I tried this in Linux and no help, but might be different in Windows, my Windows 11 test was a fresh install.

Windows 11:

After todays update, a 2K launcher pops up (this never happened before). Also at the start some game data were moved to another place.
Now I was forced to start the game with this (new) 2K launcher. At first the game starts, but then, while game data is loading it freezes..

I don't have a 2K account and actually I don't want one. Till now the game always synchronized with the Steam cloud...

Starting the game directly with "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BioShock Infinite\Binaries\Win32\BioShockInfinite.exe" seems not to work in this case, because the 2K laucher is integrated in the updated exe-file...

This launcher was probably coded by an intern's cousin's friend's cousin. The launcher hasn't worked for me since they released it for other games. It just crashes, and after each update it's a different error. This latest update just gives me a generic error window that says "Please try again later and contact us if the error persists."

It never asked me to log in, this might just be a fluke for the first launch, I would try again, it should use your steam credentials when purchased through steam.

Well, the 2K launcher IS a problem (since today in Bioshock Infinite too), as you can read in all the comments in this thread:

Linux users should raise a support ticket with the developers here:

what does this website have to do with the developers of this game? Seems unrelated.

Yup, same error here but I'm running the Proton version
Amazing how the publishers force the community to switch to the piracy due their crap softwares. No launchers, no login, just double click and play. GG 2K
