HAS 2K FINALLY REMOVED THE FORCED BAPTISM IN ORDER TO PROGRESS?

I enjoyed the first BioShock game and the second one was not that bad. However, I have postponed buying the third game because of the obligatory baptism the player has to accept in order to enter the city. For Christians it IS a big deal - so big that even a member of the game's developing team threatened to quit because of this.

So, can someone confirm if this has been fixed and the game still progresses if the player refuses the baptism?

For one thing NeuroSplicer, the dev in question did NOT quit because of these or anything else. That is a BS story by by people who don't know the truth or are lying because they don't like the game for some reason. (Like it makes blind belief and religouse fanatism look bad.) Also it's the character of Booker that is being "baptised", not the player. They are two different hings. Also since he is only pretending to buy into the "baptism" it's not even real to him. There are a lot of Christians who have played this game and had no problems. sm

UHm ok...thats weird, its a video game! Thats their story being expressed, no one in real life is being harmed by the baptism... Whats the world coming to....???

Blowing peoples brains out with guns, roasting them in fire, electrecution, chainsawing their heads off = perfectly fine.

The only time in a game where I was mildly offended by pixels was with CoD MW2 that had a terrorist level where you had to kill all the civillians at an airport, I still played the level though :)

As with Bioshock 1, not all is what it seems in Bioshock Infinite.

Also keep in mind that the city in Bioshock 1 had the motto, "No Gods or Kings, only Man."

We need a video of someone playing the game, getting to the baptism scene and acting offended, and then quitting.

After a lengthy complaint about how offensive the game is to the player, the video then fades to a flashback of the player going through various games they played in the past (killing the Little Sisters in Bioshock and getting the evil ending, not skipping "No Russian" level of CoD: Modern Warfare 2, etc.) and gleefully enjoying it.

Why can you play through a terrist act level in MW2 and not a fake baptism in Infinite.
