Comstock knowing about the False Shepherd?
Here's something that I'm wondering about. Since well before Booker comes close to Columbia it seems that Comstock is aware that Booker will come and what he will try to do in Columbia. And Comstock is getting ready to take care of Booker.

How is it that Comstock is so aware of Booker's coming arrival that he can set up this whole "False Shepherd" thing in anticipation?

I've already finished the game once but I still don't know for sure. Not everyone is as diligent as you in finding out every part of the story. So since I didn't find it out during my first playthrough I don't expect to find it during my second and thus ask for a reasonably short explaintion here on the forum.

Comstock uses the Lutece’s tear machine to view other times and places, and he piece's together the events of Bioshock Infinite.

When Elizabeth finds a large model of the syphon near the end of the game, there are a number of panels around the edge of the room that depict the events of Bioshock Infinite, as seen by Comstock the prophet.

But earlier in the game there is an audio log by one of Comstock’s soldiers, saying about how the ambush at the ticket booth didn’t go quite as Comstock saw it. So Comstock is never completely sure which version of Columbia he is looking at.

Comstock is able to 'see' the future through all the tears. That was how he also saw that Elizabeth would be the one to 'cleanse the sodom below'. Seeing Booker come back for his daughter is just one of the many futures he saw through the tear.
