Camera being wrenched away when using freight hooks?

I recently started playing the game again and noticed that this incredibly annoying bug happens where if you don't immediately whip your view around when jumping onto a freight hook, the game will slowly yank the camera to look "centered" when on the hook. It's incredibly annoying since it doesn't stop pulling on the camera until it's centered again, and prevents you from doing anything else during.

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how did you fix it?

I have had this problem too. Sadly, I don't have a fix for it but to make the jump and not turn your camera until on the hook. Turning while in the air results in this issue. So look at the hook, jump, camera will center then move around. It still takes a second but it's quicker than fighting with the camera.
