I don't know any other director took that kind of decision, because then people would started to calling it ''stolen concept''....
Every game is different, Dishonored is set in Victorian era, but it's a stealth focused game, nothing like Bioshock....
What I was asking was more along the line of what sorts of games that are centered around a Steampunk/Victorian era or setting would be worth trying.
Mass Effect 2 , Deus Ex Mankind Divided (stealth), Dead Space 2 (horror) - -----Steampunk Shooters
Metro Last Light ------- Year 2033 apocalypse theme.
Wolfenstein New Order / Wolfenstein II The New Colossus - ----- Steampunk Shooter with World War 2 theme.
Dishonored 1 and 2 hark back to the earlier Thief and Bioshock games. While the 2017 game ‘Prey’ harks back to both System Shock and Bioshock.
Both Thief and Dishonored are set in kind of Steampunk/Victorian settings. While System Shock 2 is a cyberpunk F.P.S\R.P.G hybrid.
it has the same vibe
