Are they trying to rip off Dragon's Crown
Because it kind of look like they're trying to rip off Dragon's Crown :goggles:

Sounds like a plan!

Oh, I guess somebody already had that idea:

Hahaha!

Honestly though, I'm not really saying it's NOT a ripoff of Dragon's Crown, it's just that I don't mind in the slightest - if the concept is cool and people (like me) want more of the same, what's the big deal? Gimme MOARRRR

It isn't a ripoff, and it's one of the closest games we, the PC or non-PS players, will have to Dragon's Crown. And NO, Vanillaware will NEVER bring the game to PC because of Sony or something like that.

What? Because NISA plans to release all their games on PC and this dude clearly doesn't know what he's talking about? :emofdr:

Sega own Atlus, Sega see's how putting out games that were previously console only sells well on PC (Valkyria Chronicles, Yakuza 0).

Atlus Publishes Vallinaware titles.

Basically....give it time. They gotta do Persona before anything else.

Yesyes we get it, the game looks like Dragon's Crown.

But the real question is, is Dragon's Crown a ripoff of Golden Axe?

Is Golden Axe a ripoff of Double Dragon?

Is every FPS a ripoff of Wolfenstein?

I, for one, am happy games like these are coming to Steam - gimme more of the same! They look cool and are usually pretty light on the requirements. If/when Vanillaware/Atlus/Sega/NIS FINALLY decide to bring their catalogue to Steam, ima buy each and every one of their titles.

Difference between Dragon's Crown and Golden Axe is that they have different style and setting
This game has the same style, the same setting and even is named Dragon something :steamfacepalm:

That's what Bryan Lee O'Malley said about the Scott Pilgrim game ("Give me time."), but Ubisoft won't let him do it because they don't see anymore beyond their own IPs. So for now, we have this, we have The Vagrant, so my faith rests in the indies.

What I'm saying is that some developers can't see the high demand for many games. Many years of letdowns, that's all. I do not intend to offend anyone on this thread or forum.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
