Ugh...missed the good ending by one turn.
NOTE: Once you finish Turn 99, the game goes to the ending stuff. Get everything done before Turn 99.

I made it to Turn 100, but I had one more turn left in finishing the final research topic in the Use tree (I finished the others). It was getting Klein and Escha up to max friendship level that screwed me. I spent over 10 turns raising their levels from 6 each, and I missed it by one silly turn.

I doubt I'll ever go through it again. The morass of synthesizing with 22 ateliers is just too much, as it takes an hour per turn just to get the syntheses straight (and not go over on materials). Hopefully there will be a sequel that makes this process a LOT easier. It was otherwise a great game, and I look forward to a sequel.

Well i have the same problem, with Iris and Raze needing both 8 to friendship and not enough turns to do so. While the game is still giving requests from minors characters already at 8/9/10 friendship. Specials events are rarers in late game when i need them the most and have much more time and ressource to deal with :ritonaangry:

I have a save at turn 88 but still managing the whole synth->sale->build process every turn is really tedious in the late game and i think i'd rather look at the good ending on YT.

Still a good game, had fun even though i'm not used to the Atelier licence.

I bought Atelier Ayesha long ago thinking it'd be a good JRPG...and it was, until I hit the turn limit. Had there been no time limit, I would have finished it and enjoyed it. You have to finish the Atelier stories within a certain time limit, and that just soured me on the whole series. Feeling rushed is not something I enjoy, and Nelke pushed me to the limit (making sure I had enough of everything for the next turn). The lack of emphasis on friendship levels due to the research tree not being much of an issue just handicapped me for the endgame like you. There isn't much for that, and even with the bonuses going through, I'd rather have had that bonus at the beginning in an easy or average mode, and then tried for hard once I understood what was going on. Still, it'll be a long time before I think of going through it again.
