Rather spend my money on a game that actually puts time into their game

Too busy buying GME and AMC at the moment, lmao

You guys need to really start adding features and worry less about extracting value from the small community you have.

Tourneys, mixed games, straddles - something other than new items no one cares about.

I love this app and it was a huge help during lockdown. But it really feels nothing of value has been added in a long while.

Tohnee said it better than I could. I understand it's not feasible to turn this into a real-money game but maybe paying monthly would get members-only tournaments that would award "real" prizes. Just trying to think of what would get me back into this game.

One lick of that sweet facebook money and they start shafting the actual game development to shove more and more microtransactions in
How the mighty fall, eh?

Yes, add more games and content into the game. That will grow the user-base and more people will buy chips when they run out.

For a second I thought this would be a meaningful update

No one asked for more micro-transactions.

I think what everyone wants is to not play with kids in the same tables going All-In at every turn.

i love this game, but it really needs more content and card games than JUST poker. add more content. then maybe i will consider spending more money

Poker without any possibility of winning anything of actual value defeats the real purpose of the gameplay. Buying a few virtual props and having everyone call anything because there's no real risk/reward gets incredibly boring real fast, coupled with the mass amount of complete immature prats just fooling around annoying everyone got so old so fast that I haven't even touched this title for months. On top of that it seems to be run using a card dealing algorithm exactly the same as an old 2D poker site called PKR that had real money games and free games, which was closed down I suspect due to fraud. I certainly wouldn't pay a monthly subscription to a game that I already brought, and I'm not even sure I'll ever play it again.

Lol it's not just kids that do that. After all with no risk/reward why wouldn't you? as you have nothing to lose. On top of that the virtual equivalent of luck is insanely stupid i.e. the premise that 1 seat at a table wins virtually every hand, with the river always going in their favour, or inversely the idea that another seat will always be killed by the river no matter that they have the strongest hand before that, is totally inconsistent with real cards. So people just get brassed off and play stupidly.

Yep seems like shooting yourself in the foot. I have absolutely no interest in facebook, and I certainly don't support oculus. So by alienating users of other platforms (i.e. not being able to access certain props or features) you would only sell yourself for example to 100,000 people rather than a 1,000,000. And of course as you say people are jaded with the whole microtransaction model.

i would like to add friends across platforms. I would pay for that but
9.99 per month for "free chips", a rank and pointless items? no thanks
