Tourneys, mixed games, straddles - something other than new items no one cares about.
I love this app and it was a huge help during lockdown. But it really feels nothing of value has been added in a long while.
How the mighty fall, eh?
I think what everyone wants is to not play with kids in the same tables going All-In at every turn.
Lol it's not just kids that do that. After all with no risk/reward why wouldn't you? as you have nothing to lose. On top of that the virtual equivalent of luck is insanely stupid i.e. the premise that 1 seat at a table wins virtually every hand, with the river always going in their favour, or inversely the idea that another seat will always be killed by the river no matter that they have the strongest hand before that, is totally inconsistent with real cards. So people just get brassed off and play stupidly.
Yep seems like shooting yourself in the foot. I have absolutely no interest in facebook, and I certainly don't support oculus. So by alienating users of other platforms (i.e. not being able to access certain props or features) you would only sell yourself for example to 100,000 people rather than a 1,000,000. And of course as you say people are jaded with the whole microtransaction model.
9.99 per month for "free chips", a rank and pointless items? no thanks
