Unknown Login Error?

I was on the game no more than a day ago on my fairly dodgy vr. (dodgy in the respect that my VR doesnt work all the time and only works when the cable is at a certain angle.)
Although today when i click on my steam account to play the game it loads for a little while then says 'unknown login error'??
Is anyone else facing this error?

i followed a Reddit thread from someone that had the same issue. The thing that fixed it for me was uninstalling the game and reinstalling it. If you have the same VR as me, (Rift S) change the USB port that your VR is plugged into.
