Maximum simultaneous game instances reached

I am a first time Steamer, except my grandson loaded it to my laptop a few years ago. My aim was to get into the Poker Stars game that my friend uses on his Quest 2. I seem to be starting and goes into a "bootstrap" procedure, then into the Easy Anti-cheat launch, then into a full- screen mode where I see all black, but hear some music, like they might play in the background of Poker Stars. Then, it stops, like, CRASHES, and I fall back into the Steam Library screen, allowing me to Start the game again. There have been a 'few' times, that, after the music starts on the black screen, I get an error message that says, ... "Launch Error.... Maximum simultaneous game instances reached"So... does that mean I reached their server, and there was not room for me to join, ... OR, does it mean there is a limit somewhere on my old laptop, where my installation of Steam is not able to process the game? I have looked at YouTube for answers, and can't figure out the next step. Is it just a very GLITCHY release of the 2D version of the game? Do I just wait for their next update? Do I email or call the "production team" for this 2D version for their assistance? Thank you to anyone who can help me make progress with this.And Blessings to ALL of you who have read this and are still in the dark, like me.
